Cat Food… Nutrition is important!

Let’s talk cat food—because good nutrition is the foundation of your furry friend’s health and happiness! (And yes, I’m fairly certain my cat food budget rivals my grocery bill.) Investing in quality food not only prevents vet visits but also helps your beloved fluff nugget live their best, longest life.

After diving deep into research, I’ve learned you *can* go broke feeding your cat, but there are excellent options for a range of budgets. Here’s my journey:

- **Fromm's**: Fantastic quality, but sourcing was a nightmare in my area—one store, odd hours, and frequent out-of-stock issues.

- **Nulo**: A strong contender at around $45 per bag. Readily available at PetSmart, farm stores, and Chewy, it’s a solid choice.

- **Chewy’s American Journey**: Another great option at ~$35 per bag, but I found it too crumbly. My cats refused to eat the “dust,” so some of it went to waste.

- **Stella & Chewy's**: My current favorite for kibble. I also adore their freeze-dried options, like Rabbit or Duck Duck Goose, which double as treats. Pairing these with freeze-dried salmon has made me a hero in my cats’ eyes.

Whatever you choose, remember that good nutrition is an investment in your pet’s health and well-being. Do your research, find what works for your lifestyle and budget, and keep your cuddly companion thriving!
